I’m still not over Stephen Colbert. A genuinely good human being, who is intelligent&funny.
I’m good with South Park. Actually fits fine with my sense of humor. I just hate sacrificing to the most appalling creature ever to occupy the White House. South Park is not absolution for Paramount
I love the role that Colbert plays in my parents’ life, but I admit that some of the criticisms people have leveled against his show in recent weeks haven’t rung totally hollow for me. I love the emotional, human side of Colbert that comes out from time to time. But more often, there’s this kind of theatricality to him and his humor that doesn’t connect with me as much as a few of the other late night hosts. It also bugs me sometimes how many jokes are recycled between them. I’m rarely struck by the originality of what I see from Colbert. He’s at his best when he’s totally candid, down to earth, and talking about life. I’d love to see more of that.
It’s true I’m older. I understand taste× change.
I used to be a huge Woody Allen fan. How embarrassing for me.
I wish a sacrifice hadn’t been made. I hate to think Donald Trump curates what we see, hear, our public buildings. The truth is Trump has terrible taste&no sense of humor.
Paramount made a choice to placate an autocrat. They need to know we know.
The stuff with Satan was disgustingly outstanding. The portrayal of Kristi Noem's version of the "squirrel!" reflex whenever she saw a dog was brutal.
Did you see the post-credit scene? I missed it on the first watch-through. Absolutely relentless 😂

Yeah, sort of like a fireworks finale 😄
