I always read your post with interest, but I disagree completely. If Trump did anything of value it was purely accidental.
Trump removed Maduro for the same reason Bush/Cheney removed Sadam Husain. Oil&personal gain.
I understand the idea that perhaps white women victims get more attention, but the idea ice belongs in Minnesota for any reason is flawed. I wish in everyone’s next life they live as a mother just trying to get their kids to school. If I had been up since dawn getting myself&my kids dressed, fed, very possibly on my way to work I would have been angry&confused by the actions of this thug.
I want the best&brightest, I don’t want a functionally illiterate, rapist&thief in the White House. You might have a point if Trump hadn’t absconded with the oil, deposited the money in Qatar in a personal account.
I don’t think I’m deranged in wanting the Epstein files released, I want ICE defunded.
President Obama could possibly be questioned about Al Awaki, but not bin Laden.
That Trump is a racist, sexual predator&uses US military to exact revenge&financial gain, his disruptions of U.S. economy& world alliances is not in dispute. I’m not deranged to think his acts are criminal.
BTW just because I’m a white woman doesn’t mean it’s ok to shoot me in the face.
The only thing you said there that I’d push back on slightly is that Bin Laden point. If Trump took out Osama in precisely the same way that Obama did, do we agree that the media we consume would have presented the matter differently than how it was? Do you think it would have been received differently by Democrats? I’m fairly convinced it would have been.
I hope that I didn’t seem like I said that ICE’s presence is okay or that people deserve to be shot. I think it’s militaristic what they’re doing and in clear violation of peoples’ rights. Just because I feel that the main narrative that’s been presented is incomplete doesn’t mean I disagree with any of those labels you’re using to describe Trump. I think he’s the worst president in our country’s history.
I understand your point, but believe bin Laden a special case. With Americans anyway not sure Pakistan would see Trump invading their space without questions.
I am guilty of being one of those with Trump Derangement Syndrome who are "so consumed by fear and anger that they believe a broken clock is never right". I despise Trump with such intensity that I do not wish to give him credit for ONE SINGLE THING!!! Also, with all due respect Ben, I see no "two sides" to what happened to Renee Good. She was needlessly shot and killed by an angry and vengeful thug who should never have been hired by ICE nor given a gun.
I guess it’s all in your idea of “two sides,” because I don’t really disagree with what you said about Good one bit. I have no doubt that he was unqualified and in the wrong and likely wanted to do what he did. I only believe there are two sides in that there are people who are able to watch the same footage and arrive at totally different conclusions. I also think that some cases of police killings are so unambiguous that it hardly even leaves open the door to an argument.
Thanks for reading and for the comment even if you don’t agree, Jeff.

Also, thanks for taking the time to read and share your thoughts even if you may not always agree. It really means a lot, Suki.
ThankYou
