As a video producer in my former life, I knew how important it was to start a project with a really great scriptwriter. Sadly, they were hard to come by. Though I’m retired now, I still love to find great talent in writing, visual arts, and music. Ben has captured me with his engaging pieces and his passion for creating them. I know we’ll see much more from him in the future and am very excited to witness it all.

Also, I’d love to hear a bit about that former life as a video producer!

Be,

Congratulations on being true

to the writer you are.

Artificial intelligence

will never be capable

of conceiving a single word

of your soul poetry.

I shall enjoy watching you

leave AI in the dust.

AI will never replace writers! I am not impressed with AI at all. Facebook is full of so many AI pictures. They do not look real because they are not real. A writer’s work is real. I choose reality.

Facebook really has turned into an AI cesspool. As AI has continued to develop, I've been really pleased to see just how little it's grown in the writing department. I admit that the AI visual art I see is often enough to impress and deceive me, especially when I consider just how atrocious all AI generated art was only a couple of years ago. But the same is virtually never true of AI writing. Makes me feel sometimes as though it's the most irreplaceable art form of all, and makes me very thankful to be doing what I'm doing.

Thanks for reading, Virginia!

Ben, welcome to the scribal chaos. You’re basically starting a newsletter in the middle of a dumpster fire and saying, “pull up a chair, I brought words.” That’s gutsy and holy.

Appreciate the kind words! Admittedly when I wrote this, the notion didn’t feel quite as bold hahaha. But I’m still trying to do my part. Thanks for reading!

Much has been written and said about Generation Z across the world, and it is indeed a positive sign that serious thought is being given to the new generation. However, one very important element should not be overlooked in this discussion — and that is human nature itself.

A nature that humanity has cultivated through thousands of years of generational effort and experience. At its core lies the strong bond between parents and the upbringing connected to that family unit.

No system is built solely upon books, culture, or civilization. Before all of these, every society stands upon the moral and intellectual foundations that are passed down from parents to children, generation after generation. Therefore, if you truly wish to strengthen Generation Z, then strengthen the parental and family system behind them — a system already shaped by your social values, culture, and collective way of life.

Through this strong familial and educational foundation, not only Generation Z but also the generations that follow can be protected and guided in a balanced way. In return, they will produce a capable and responsible generation that will play a meaningful role in the progress and development of the nation and society.

As always, thank you so much, Brent! It’s hard to overstate how much all of your support has meant to me. And I hope that’s a standard I manage to uphold!
